Back in 1988 I went on a trip to Disney World with my parents and at some point during our vacation we got roped into going on a timeshare presentation at one of the ubiquitous timeshare resorts in the Orlando area. At the time I barely noticed the hard sell and I was supremely disappointed that my parents didnt see the wonderful potential in timeshares. They decided not to buy and my dreams were smashed.

Well, Im a few years older now and having been through the timeshare presentation ringer several times, I feel like something of a champion. So last year, on a trip to walt Disney World, I elected to go on a tour of one of their properties, Saratoga Springs resort & Spa. On the morning I scheduled my tour, a disney vacation Club guide picked me up at Pop Century resort inside wdw and took me off to Saratoga Springs.

On arrival, I fully expected that I would be missing out on the theme parks for the rest of the morning, but surprisingly this wasnt the case. My DVC guide took me on a tour of the property and then we went back to the office and he outlined the DVC membership options, how the program worked, its costs and the financing options.

After he was done with his presentation, which between the tour and the discussion was less than an hour, he asked me if I was interested in purchasing during my visit. I told him that the Disney vacation Club was certainly something I was interested in, but Id have to think it over and didn't plan on purchasing for several months.

I braced myself for the hard sell and it never came. Instead, he handed me his card, asked me to contact him when I was ready and then gave me some FastPasses and offered me a ride back to the theme park of my choice.

Can you imagine my surprise? If youve ever been on a timeshare presentation yourself you know what Im talking about! There was no, The price is only good today, there was no arm twisting about how I was losing out by not investing now. He didnt insist that I talk with his supervisor to see if we could sort something out. Instead, he gave me some passes that let me go to the front of the line on any ride at Disney World and then took me to animal Kingdom.

Whats wrong with these guys? Dont they know this isnt how you sell a timeshare?

Well, as it turns out, maybe the disney vacation Club folks know exactly what theyre doing. Several months after my trip I received a postcard from Disney reminding me about the opportunity and letting me know that prices were scheduled to increase on the first of the year. So I picked up the phone, called my guide and told him I wanted to buy. Ill be spending my first DVC vacation at boardwalk villas this August and Ill be sure to say hello to Mickey for you!

The legend of Zelda was a monumental game released on February 21st, 1986 for the original nintendo Entertainment system. It incorporated action, role playing, and a puzzle theme. This game was what started a whole phenomenon which had titles on every single nintendo console system and nintendo Handheld system.

Today you can play Zelda online but it's difficult actually finding the original game from homemade remakes. First before you can play the actual nintendo version of The legend of Zelda you must own an original copy of the game to follow nintendo copyrights. The first way requires more work and has spyware risk to your computer. So do this at your own risk. You can download a nintendo Emulator (game console program) and legend of Zelda rom (the game itself) and play it that way. You can find these files by simply searching google or yahoo.

The second way is playing the game on the internet itself. These websites load the Zelda emulator and rom so you do not have to do any of the work. It is the same concept as the first way except it requires no downloading and you can do it with zero risk to you computer.

The reason people look for the legend of Zelda online is because the Original nintendo cartridges are difficult to find and get working on the Original nintendo system. So people look for alternatives which are the same exact controls and game itself. It is a great game worth a play through.

You own a playstation 2 but aren't quite sure what other items to buy with it. What games should you buy? Do you need extra controllers? Are memory cards required? Are any other accessories required? Follow these directions below and you can answer all your questions and start enjoying your console to the fullest.

Games After choosing the system, the biggest decision is what games will you buy to go along with it. The playstation 2 console is just an expensive DVD player if you don't buy games, so you need to address this question right away. The first way to choose games is pick something related to a hobby of yours outside of gaming. Do you play football, skateboarding, like cars, or fishing, like a particular movie? There are games for all of these hobbies, movie tie in games, and many more. The second option for choosing your games is start with a list of the most popular games released on the playstation 2. They are:

Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Final Fantasy X, Madden 2006, Splinter Cell, Gran Turismo 3, and SOCOM Navy Seals

These games aren't made for everyone, so be sure you check the ratings and descriptions before buying one. The playstation 2 has one of the broadest game lists of any system so you are bound to find a game that exactly fits your particular likes.

Controllers The playstation 2 console originally came with one controller out of the box but two controller slots. buying a second controller can be a great investment, especially if your friends play games too or multiple people in the house play. The small investment will greatly increase your enjoyment of the system because you can play with friends at the same time. If you buy a multi-tap adaptor you can use four controllers at the same time. Unless you buy the multi-tap adaptor there is no need to buy more than one controller.

This is a great time to mention the difference between sony brand controllers and third party controllers. sony contollers are more reliable, while third party controllers are less expensive but can break easier. I only recommend buying sony brand controller for the most part. The one exception to this is logitech brand controllers. logitech makes a high quality wireless controller that is very reliable.

Memory Cards - You will need at least one memory card to save your games on the playstation 2. The sony brand 8 MB memory card can save quite a bit of game data. Unless you play lots of sports games, you will only need one memory card. If you really love your sports games, be sure to pick up a couple extras because they need lots of space to store all the data needed to play an entire season.

accessories - The playstation 2 has lots of other accessories you could buy including network adaptors, steering wheels, and even a hard drive. The most useful of these is the network adaptor which plugs into the back of the system and allows you to connect to the internet for online games. Many of the most recent games on the PS2 support online play so you will need this network adaptor. (Quick side note: if you buy a Slim PStwo system you do not need to buy this adaptor because it is already built into the system). The other accessories for the PS2 have their uses too but are not quite as beneficial as the network adaptor.
